This is my very first post, and I will apologize now for I am totally new to this type of thing. I created this card for the Basic Grey Challenge. I am hoping as I go along my posts get better. Within this card I used the Basic Grey BLUSH paper, periphery undressed chipboard. I coloured Tilda using my Copic Markers, added some stickles and painted the frame in Chocolate Making Memories paint. The stamp is of course a Magnolia stamp that my friend Tara kindly stamped for me. I would like to Thank Tara for her knowledge, and showing me how to use Copic Markers. Love them.

  1. Hey Shannon! Congrats on starting a blog!!! I love your card it looks awesome!!! Tilda is adorable sitting inside that chipboard frame (I need to check out the Periphery chipboard...it looks fab) and I love the sentiment...such a pretty font! Is is a CTMH stamp?
Really great card Shannon! glad you decided to join all of us crafty folk out here in the blogosphere...Welcome! It's lots of fun and almost as addictive as Magnolia stamps, lol!!!
Your very welcome for the tips on the Copics...that's what it is all about!!! Kraftin' Kimmie was kind enough to give me pointers on Copcis when I first started using them and I'm just payin' it forward, smile!!!
Don't forget we need to get together to swap some Magnolia images!
    later,t

  6. Welcome to blogland and cardmaking. I started my blog less than a year ago and I was a scrapper before trying cards out. Now I kind of do both. Just have fun and don't stress about you blog. But your card looks great and you colored the Magnolia image so well too. Good luck, have fun, and hope to see you more at BG Challenges.
